About Me

Raised in Miami, Florida, Sunny was exposed to the arts at a very young age. As a child, she accompanied her mother to the South Beach Performing Arts Center where she choreographed and joined her father’s at-home studio sessions where she learned about music. She began her own artistic journey at the age of 8 years old when her mother opened a performing arts school that soon became the Nest Of Living Arts. At N.O.L.A, Sunny started to explore her movement and began her technical training. Throughout high school, she performed consistently, both at school and throughout her Miami community. With the support of her family, Sunny moved to Los Angeles to train at the American Musical Dramatic Arts College. Under the Dance Theatre Program, she received her Associates in Occupational Studies.

After graduating, Sunny began to explore her artistic mediums. She dove into her love for film and photography, modeling for brands and making appearances in music and concept videos. She continued in her dance journey as well, performing at live shows such as Choreographers Carnival in Los Angeles, and dancing for multiple artists. As she began to work more within the entertainment industry, Sunny realized her passion for creation surpassed to the other side of the lense. Diving into the direction side of things, she began to shadow at a friends production company and received her first credit as movement director for Isaiah Rashaad's "Wat U Sed" music video. As she became more exposed to the different realms of content curation, she sought new inspiration and established herself as a creative artist, finding herself in all genres of the arts. She utilized her skills and started to create her own conceptual videos that would best epitomize her as a movement artist. Her work includes her interest in using various and obscure camera angles and shots, play on shadow dance, and presenting a new, modern, and contemporary style for storytelling through movement. She also started to direct and curate her own photoshoots, pushing her limits and insecurities and turning them into worlds that told the personal stories of her life. With these creations, she incorporated her talent in poetry and writing to better narrate her designs.

As Sunny continued to explore her niche, she toured and performed at festivals with Doechii, and continued to work with other music and creative artists such as Duckwrth, Blxst, and Rayana Jay. She performed live on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, and had a spread in Rebel Magazine's 2021 issue.

Encapsulating all of her passions by using fashion, music, dance, film, and art,

Sunny aims to expand her horizons as a movement director/artist, model, creative director, and overall visionary.
